First Meeting Kelvin and Phil met during a Gayborhood Happy Hour that Phil has been organizing for years. At first Phil was busy talking to all the guests, but both Phil and Kelvin noticed each other. By the end of the Happy Hour, most people had started to leave and Kelvin and Phil started to talk. They shared a shot of Jameson and Kelvin asked Phil to join him and his friends at another bar. Since this happy hour is on a Friday, Phil usually says no to being asked to "going out for another", but this time Phil felt something different. Phil met Kelvin out at the bar and he was impressed when Kelvin bought him a beer and started showing off some of his dance moves. As the night went on, one of Kelvin's friends kept flirting with Phil which Kelvin kept a close eye on. Finally, Phil and Kelvin kissed and they exchanged numbers. Of course, it was around 11 pm and getting late, so Phil left, but not before agreeing to a formal date.

First Date Kelvin and Phil made plans to meet two days later, on a Sunday afternoon. Both agreed to bring their respective puppies so they can get to know each other: Phil brought Tom and Kelvin brought Zeus. The first date started around 4:30 pm at a dog friendly bar called Farraguts. The timing and date were key because if things were not going good there was an easy out for both them: either making up some dinner plans with someone else or the need to get home and get ready for work the next day. As you can guess by now, this wasn't needed as they continued to talk, drink, and sing to the jukebox with the other patrons until 10:30 pm. They both knew that each of them was something special. From the First Date until now Kelvin and Phil have continued their relationship: became exclusive, travelled together, met family and friends, and they both have been supportive of each other's careers. They have gone thru good and bad, but their love continues to grow each day, more and more.
